What is the difference between Full Face, Nasal, and Nasal Pillow masks?
Full Face masks cover both nose and mouth, best for mouth breathers or those who need higher pressure. Nasal masks cover only the nose and are lighter and more comfortable for most patients. Nasal Pillow masks have minimal contact, sitting just below the nostrils, ideal for side sleepers, people with facial hair, or those who feel claustrophobic.
How do I know which size to order?
Most masks come with a sizing guide: measure the bridge of your nose to the base of your upper lip. We also offer free mask fittings if you are unsure.
Can I use any mask with my CPAP machine?
Masks connect to machines via a standard 22mm tubing connector, so technically yes. However, some masks are designed for specific pressure ranges. We can advise on compatibility if you're unsure.
How often should I replace my mask?
The mask cushion (the soft part that touches your face) should be replaced every 1 to 3 months. The mask frame and headgear typically last 6 to 12 months. Replacing on schedule maintains the seal and reduces leak rates.
What if the mask leaks?
Minor leaks are normal during the adjustment period. If you're experiencing significant leaks, it usually means the size or type isn't right. Contact us and we'll troubleshoot your fit at no charge.
