limited warranty policy

Warranty Duration:

 

Starting from the date of purchase, The Air Station offers a standard manufacturer's limited warranty of 2 years from the date of purchase for their CPAP, bilevel, and ventilation devices, including external power supply units and excluding humidifier tubs. This warranty is only available to the initial consumer and is not transferable.

 

Coverage:

 

The warranty covers manufacturing defects and malfunctions that occur during normal use of the device.

 

The limited warranty does not cover any damage caused by:

 

  1. Improper use, abuse, modification, or alteration of the product;

  2. Repairs carried out by any service organization that has not been expressly authorized by the manufacturer to perform such repairs;

  3. Contamination due to cigarette, pipe, cigar, or other smoke;

  4. Exposure to ozone, activated oxygen, or other gases;

  5. Water being spilled on or into an electronic device;

  6. Force majeure, such as excessive voltage, lightning and accidents;

  7. Combination with other products not authorised by the manufacturer;

  8. Transport damages as a result of incorrect packaging of the products during return transport to The Air Station Pte Ltd.;

  9. Wear as a result of operational use and standard wear and tear; for example, the following components are considered wear and tear parts: Filters, batteries and chargers, disposable items etc.

Warranty is void on product sold, or resold, outside the region of original purchase.

 

Warranty claims on defective product must be made by the initial consumer at the point of purchase.

 

The Air Station shall not be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages claimed to have resulted from the sale, installation, or use of any product.

 

Repairs and Replacements:

 

During the warranty period, if the product fails under conditions of normal use, The Air Station will repair or replace, at its option, the defective part or any of its components (except for Resmed Airmini Autoset).

 

Accessories and Consumables:

 

Accessories such as masks, tubing, filters, and humidifier chambers are not covered under the limited CPAP machine warranty. These items are considered consumables and may have their own separate warranty terms or guarantees.

 

Proof of Purchase:

 

You need to retain your proof of purchase, such as the original receipt or invoice, as it will be required for warranty service.

 

Third-Party Purchases:

 

If you purchase a CPAP machine from an authorized dealer or retailer, the warranty terms remain the same. However, if the machine is purchased from a third-party seller not authorized by the manufacturer, the warranty may be void. It's recommended to verify the legitimacy of the seller before making a purchase.
