Frequently asked questions
How often should I replace CPAP accessories?
As a general guide: filters every 2 to 4 weeks (disposable) or monthly (reusable); tubing every 3 months; mask cushions every 1 to 3 months; headgear every 6 months; water chamber every 6 months. Your insurer may cover replacement accessories. Check your policy.
Are your accessories compatible with my machine?
Most accessory names say which machine they fit, for example AirSense™ 11 Standard Filters. If you're unsure of your machine model, check the label on the back of the unit or contact us.
What cleaning products do you recommend?
We stock Purdoux CPAP Mask Wipes and cleaning solutions, safe for all mask materials. Avoid alcohol-based wipes or harsh detergents, which degrade silicone cushions. A mild soap and warm water rinse works well for daily cleaning.
Do I need a specific filter for my machine brand?
Yes, filters are machine-specific. ResMed and Löwenstein machines use different filter types and sizes. Check the product name for your machine, or contact us if you're unsure.
